Icelandic Volcano. How Frustrated am I?

Just as we thought the Icelandic Volcano was settling down and flights have started to depart we now have the fear of a new ash cloud to cover the UK.  I have my sister stuck out in Majorca with a flight home hopefully this Sunday and then I am due to fly out to Las Vegas next Wednesday.

Food Carvings at Sea

On nearly every cruise I have been on there has been a special food carving display for one of the midnight buffets.  This is normally called the Midnight Gala Buffet.  The event takes days to prepare and they produce some of the most interesting pieces of art you could see.

Enhancing Private Islands with NCL

Following my blog regarding Cruise lines Private Islands I thought I would let you know how NCL are enhancing their Island Great Stirrup Cay.  Great Stirrup Cay is located 120 miles east of Fort Lauderdale in the Berry Island chain in the Bahamas.  The 250 acre island will undergo renovation costing over $20 million.  It will take about 22 months to complete and should be finished by the end of 2011.
