SAMBA to the sounds of BRAZIL

I have taken a few calls over the last few days of clients looking for a cruise to South America.  Well MSC Cruises will be operating half a dozen ships in South America calling at the ports of Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Montevideo and lots more in autumn 2010.  A cruise to South America I feel is the best way to see this vibrant continent without the hassles of making your own way there.

Goodbye Ocean Village

Ocean Village's final voyage will go on sale on 8th March. I have some fond memories of the Ocean Village.  I remember when she first launched and then sailed on her myself for a week around the Mediterranean.  I can remember thinking am I going to enjoy this ship being so different to anything I had been on and I was pleasantly surprised.  It is just so laid back and plenty to do onboard.  The cabins were a really good size too and such a variety of food.

Cabin Fever

Can you imagine going on a cruise and getting confined to your cabin.  Well this does happen and it happens more than we think.  The norovirus sickness bug is one of the biggest bugs at sea.  The first symptom of the bug is a sudden onset of nausea which normally is followed by projectile vomiting and diarrhoea.  The symptoms don't normally start until 24 to 48 hours after the initial infection this is why it spreads so quickly onboard a ship.

Romance at Sea!

With Valentine's Day approaching why not treat your love one to a romantic cruise.  Many companies make it easy to find a perfect voyage for two.  You can have breakfast in bed or dine under the stars.  A cruise is such a great way to relax and get pampered, and there is such great dining and entertainment onboard you will find it a pleasure to be away.  Lots of cruise lines have got romantic offers available, here are some of them.
