Saying 'I Do' at Sea.
Have you ever fancied getting married at sea? What a very special way to celebrate your big day. A lot of cruise lines now offer weddings at sea with the Captain. A wedding onboard a ship is the next big thing. The onboard wedding co-ordinators will give you peace of mind everything will go smoothly. They offer so many different packages for your perfect day. You can get married onboard with P&O, Princess, NCL and Royal Caribbean to name a few.Posted by Gemma at 16:32 0 comments

Tender Boat Experience
I love cruising but I can't really say I enjoy ports where you have to tender from the ship. If you are unsure of what a tender boat is, it is where the ship is too large to dock alongside so you have to use one of the lifeboats to get ashore. My worst experience of this was a few years back now in Guernsey. We had got ashore fine and the weather was good. By the time we had to rejoin the ship it had started to rain and we got into the lifeboat. We were on the last tender of the day.Posted by Gemma at 16:23 0 comments

Am I really being treated like a past passenger?
Are past passengers perks really worth it I ask myself. A lot of cruisers will experience lots of different cruise lines before maybe just sticking to one. Therefore they will be a past passenger of more than one cruise line. The past passenger benefits will obviously increase the more times you travel with the same cruise line.Posted by Gemma at 15:44 0 comments

Don't forget to check your Passport!
Recently I have been receiving quite a few calls from my clients about their passports. We advise people at the time of booking how much time has to be left on them after taking a cruise but it still causes quite a lot of problems. The cruise lines always state in their terms that 6 months validity has to be left on a British passport from the date of returning after your cruise.Posted by Gemma at 09:43 0 comments

Going Solo!
NCL have announced that the new Norwegian Epic launching in July 2010 will have studio staterooms designed and priced for single occupancy. The single staterooms start from £599 for the 7 day Caribbean itinerary. How great to be able to go on holiday knowing you havent paid over the odds to have a single cabin. These cabins are going to be so popular. There are no single supplements for these cabins at all and they go on sale on 18 January. Posted by Gemma at 16:57 0 comments
